it all started with a summer job. our founder spent those months drafting transcontinental communication cables and metropolitan CATV networks. at the time, the plan was to become an architect, but that experience sparked a new passion for technology and set a completely different career path in motion.

fast forward 30+ years, and that journey has included roles as an estimator, design engineer, consultant, and project manager. Along the way, our founder has seen the ICT industry from every perspective—working with contractors, owners, network integrators, and consultants.

one thing kept standing out: too many specifications and standards were outdated, inconsistent, or didn’t line up with the RFP documents. that disconnect caused unnecessary headaches; project delays, added costs, and frustration for everyone involved.

the truth is, there are plenty of great contractors and consultants out there. they know the codes, they understand the technology, and they have the experience to deliver. What they often don’t have is the right direction, clear expectations, and up-to-date documentation to guide the process.

that’s why Technical Specifications and Engineering (TSE) was created—to provide the clarity, consistency, and standards the industry has been missing. Our goal is simple: help teams spend less time fighting paperwork and more time focusing on design, innovation, and project success.

with over 30 years in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry, our team brings deep expertise in design, engineering, and project execution. Some of our team members have held the Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) credential for more than 30 years, and others hold a Masters in Information Technology: demonstrating a long-standing commitment to technical excellence and industry standards.

over the years, we’ve participated in the estimation, design, and implementation of a wide range of projects: education, healthcare, corporate, entertainment venues, retail, hotels, residential and government sectors.
